Just to add a bit of context: from what I understand bozohttpd was largely
written by NetBSD developers and users. Many of us have contributed to it,
myself included. We even use it on http://ftp.netbsd.org/.

I think nearly everybody would object if a behemoth like Apache, PHP or
MySQL were imported into the base system. It's not reasonable to compare
bozohttpd to those, since we are talking about a tiny binary that sits out
on the edge in libexec. It's well written, it does one task very well and
it doesn't impose much of a maintenance burden on us. What's the big deal?
Thanks,
