One does not avoid embarassment; it is a self-defeating tactic. One faces
and deals with embarassment . Personally, I'd put tabooism (perhaps not
really an emotion, but meh), embarassment, and /perhaps/ shame right there
with hate on the list of 'primitive emotions'.

Yes, I can understand that. NetBSD has a habit of locking up it's soul so
it'll 'sell' better. While it certainly beats selling one's soul (vide
Lunix), I too believe this to be a self-defeating tactic.

Given the many personal attacks I received during my brief and
