I'm not aware of such a definition. I've just seen LDAP behaving
really badly
on an old Linux system (Red Hat 8).
I like the idea of doing some stuff automagically like interpolating
the
domainname into the basedn,
What domain name? The domain part of the hostname?
I would actually prefer something which is configured like Solaris and/
or Linux
to make integration into heterogeneous networks easier.
