} I can change it, but then we are going to be the only ones using
} it and this will not match the documentation for other systems. It
} is the same reason why we went back to name /etc/ssh/ssh.conf and
} /etc/ssh/sshd.conf to ssh_config and sshd_config respectively. It
} is easy enough to change; we can change the source code and the
} documentation to point to /var/db/postfix, but do you want to be
} different for the sake of being different?

     Does /var/lib/postfix contain files that the user ever has to look
at?  If not, then there is no reason to worry about where the files are
placed.
