Once again you are making assumptions about the way it is used.
mkstr is only used for particular programs which are designed to
be used with it, not simply any random source code. Those were ones
(and one in particular) that were both big and contained many
error messages.
Your comment is akin to saying that lint is useless because it
cannot diagnose problems with /etc/passwd.
Aside from the "save a second of build time" argument, there has still
been no substantive explation at all for why mkstr should be removedo
Just "I think it is useless".
Can we please just stop wasting everyone's time with this?
