Well, recently I discovered I had reformatted a disk with rather important
(and self-made, so not reftpable) source code. There was a clear label
attached to the disk and it was clearly in Amigados format, but did that
stop me? Apparently not, and I'm still kicking my head for it. So
user-friendliness isn't alwas going to help, I'm afraid.

Apart from that, you can already use the AmigaDOS DiskCopy to copy
raw tar floppies. I keep lots of archives that require multiple disks
in tar format (gcc for instance) and that's never been a problem.
