Hi,
I was looking over some Mach stuff and found a paper outlining
the Mach virtual memory system. This is the system used in NetBSD
and might be helpful for anyone who wanted to understand the pmap
stuff in the NetBSD kernel. In particular it covers what low-level
(machine specific) routines need to be implemented and what their
functions should be. The paper can be found on mach.cs.berkeley.edu
in the docs dir as "pmap-notes".
btw.. has anyone compiled a good bibliography of different papers
and books and files outlining various components related to the
NetBSD kernel?
Tim N.
