Last night I compiled the kernel from 13th may, and except for two
little things, it compiled flawlessly:
1.) There was an ')' missing quite at the end of .../sys/syslog.h
2.) ttnread must be non-static in .../kern/tty.c
But after that, friday 13th took his toll: When I tried loading it
(either from /dev/reboot or via loadbsd), it barfed on me. After
loadbsd tells his story about availabel memory etc., all I get is a
black screen!
I've tried loadbsd-940320.gz and even managed to compile the loadbsd.c
that came with the kernel, but none of the two worked. (I also did a
"make install" in /usr/include ...)
What am I missing/what's wrong here?
