I sent send some mail to Chris on this and I thought I'd
	mension it for the benifit of other kernel hackers.

	The xxmatch(dp, cfp, auxp) function that matches the device
	in the autoconfig stuff doesn't appear to have auxp pointing
	to the name of the device when it's called. Instead, you have to
	look at cfp->cf_device->cd_name in the call to match like the
	ser and other drivers have. auxp seems to be pointing to an
	empty string.
