 I hope actually, that we will retain some other method of installing the 
rootfs other than BFFS.

 For some reason, I never got BFFS to work correctly on my machine, which 
I do not think was a bug in BFFS, but rather something to do with the 
rather ODD drives that I have or something.

 I never made a bug report, as it did not seem that anyone else ever had 
such a problem, and that it was more easy to believe that either I was 
doing something very dumb in the installation, or that there was 
something truly wierd with my setup.

 What happens when I try to use BFFS is I can write fine to the 
partitions, but when I attempt to read from them under AmigaDOS, the 
machine bombs blasting the ROM image somehow in the process... i.e. 
bizzarre unpredicable things happen.

 Another reason for never mentioning it, as that the internal SCSI 
connexion on the machine (A3000T) is hosed, and any data sent to a drive 
on it is terribly munged. Oddly, the external port works perfectly.

 If I were dependent upon BFFS somehow I do not think that I could 
install a new root image on this machine.
