I have a SeriesII SCSI + 4megs.  The kernel reports:

  gtsc0 at gvpbus0: dmamask 0xffffff bounce pa 0xd301c maxdma 1024

while booting up.  The physical address is in the chip region not
the card's z2 memory area.  This means my system is running slower
than it need be correct?  I'm not sure what is causing this but
I think the memlist (as seen by NetBSD) didnt have the 24bit DMA
flag set when I had checked it at an earlier time.


On a related note:  I called AMD and they sent me specs on the
33c93A chip.  Thanks for the pointer.  Reading through the code
I noticed that the DMA controller is seperate (33c93 handled in
sbic* and DMA controller handled in gtsc*).  How did you get
information on the controller?  Is there any reference I can
find other than the NetBSD code?
