A3000/NetBSD <-> A2500/sVr4 has been working flawlessly for me 
(1.0; not -current) for several months now.

1.0 seems to work with my setup.  I didn't have my A3000 'til 
I started using 1.0, so I've no experience with 0.9[?] and nfs.
