I haven't been watching this whole thread very closely because, up until
a couple of weeks ago, everything worked fine for me. Then I changed a
couple of things, and netbsd refused to boot any more. First thing,
I changed the configuration of my 540m internal IDE, shifting the root
partition up by about 150 cylinders, also changing the BFFS dev file.
Then I brought the sources up to date, which I hadn't done in a couple of
months. Since then I have been unable to boot, and not having a lot of
time lately, didn't try very hard. Last night I noticed that if I copied
netbsd to an amiga partition and loaded it from there, everything works
fine, but loadbsd refuses to load it directly from root:netbsd (BFFS),
it just hangs the system, sometimes before the memory config is printed,
sometimes after the screen changes, but before it can switch to whatever
AGA mode it is using. I've got an A4000/040, 8 megs fast, and an Emplant.

Can anyone tell me if this is related? Don't think so, just thought I'd
ask.

Also, what's the chance of getting the empsc (Emplant SCSI) device driver
that's been sitting out on regensburg into -current?
