Revive a couple of cleanup test cases

During the removal of atf-cleanup, I killed a couple of critical test cases
to ensure that the cleanup code deals with mount points.  Bring this code
back and fix a bug along the way!

That's what happens when unit tests are not in place and all we have are
gigantic integration tests...
