 The attached patch is just a draft of my toying around with this feature;
 it keeps the same name recursively, and doesn't work with count_tps
 because (as the comment states), count_tps is a static member function. So
 someone would need to figure out what to do there (I'm still not that
 great at C++, but I try)...
