Okay!

	The problem the __DYNAMIC has gone away  now,and gas now installs.
	However, ld cannot build du to the following:

perror.o: Undefined symbol ___strerror referenced from text segment

	perror.c references __strerror which is in libc/string/strerror.c

	A rebuild of libc doesn't get rid of this problem. (All of this
	done with LDSTATIC -static and NOPIC)

	Thoughts?
