Any idea where to check quickly on how to read the Data Carrier Detect lines
on the modem?  I need to have a process that checks every so often (or perhaps
BLOCKS on DCD), and runs as soon as it notices that there isn't a CD on the
line anymore (the program re-establishes a slip connection, and it is very
important that the connection be up as much as possible).
