Hm; that's odd. However, you can change it with ifconfig. The `link'
flags mean the following for SLIP:
link0 - on means compression enabled.
link1 - on means ICMP packets are blocked.
link2 - is weird. I don't get the point.
No doubt this should be in the slattach(8) man page.
