I know this isn't the place to ask this, but our News is down
(local problem) and I don't know where else to ask this..
(besides, my NetBSD machine's affected also..)

Does anyone know what's the deal with the reverse DNS
mapping?  Or who to e-mail/call about it?  My DNS
table shows this:
$ORIGIN ARPA.

But traceroute/ping says:

Anyway, it looks like 'ird.scitex.com' is the DNS master for
in-addr.arpa. which is kinda crucial for reverse mappings.. :-)
It seems to have been down at least since 6:00pm EST.

This isn't *that* big of a deal, but it is sure slowing down telnet
connections, ftp's to sites that require reverse maps, even Mosaic
seems fubar..  If anyone can tell me whats up, where to check on this,
who to call, or to shut up and mind my own business, any info would be
appreciated!
