Hi there,

I am the one who had written the articel about NetBSD-1.0 being late.
So I first want to appologize (sp?) if someone think that my words
are not well taken.

Second I want to say thank you to Brian Moore who had build some
NetBSD-1.0-Beta floppies. They work fine; i.e I am just working
with 'his' system.

There are only three minor problems wich take some of my time:

 - There may be a note in the INSTALL document what to do if
someone wants to have the system on the whole disk; you
have to give all cylinder (excluding the swap space)
to the install-script the first time it ask how big an
   area had to be.
 - The /tmp and the /var/tmp/vi.recover directories are
writable for root only. I had to change the modes to
   start vi as an user.
 - I have to change the /etc/rc and/or /etc/netstart files
to get my X running. Otherwise it didn't find 'sam:0'.
Even a 'ping sam' did fail. I think that that faeture
should be enabled because the majority of NetBSD user did
use X. (but I may be wrong).

But it may be that I have done something else wrong.

Nevertheless I have a running NetBSD-1.0-Beta. Well done.

/gT/

P.S. I also want to say thank you to all other people who
	 had brought NetBSD to us.
