May I suggest storing just the patches to a standard distribution?
With some additional info. like
a) ptr to the standard distribution including version number
b) a brief description of changes
c) whether netbsd-1.0 or (soon) netbsd-current was used and
what compiler if that is relevant, and,
d) if the porter is willing to offer a binary and if so the FTP site.
The reason I suggest this is because it takes a while for
netbsd support to get reintegrated in a package and a new
version to appear on the net. It sure would be nice to be
able to avoid the usually trivial but time consuming task of
porting.
