I have an Sony DAT (SDT-5000) and it is recognized:

wesc0 targ 3 lun 0: <SONY    SDT-5000        3.02> SCSI2 sequential removable
st0 at scsibus9: rogue, drive empty

And I can use tar, but when I try 'mt status':

unknown tape drive type (7)

I think I must change some of the source, but which parts ? Do I need
to change only the kernel source or also the mt source ?
