I got fed up at the lack of package tools, and snatched the FreeBSD ones
and then wacked on them substantially to beat them into better shape.

I've got them into a decent semblance of shape now, and I've put
together a bunch of packages for the i386 platform.  All I need is a
good FTP site to throw them on :).
