I've placed a release version of the MIT binary distribution of AFS 3.3
for NetBSD/i386 1.0 into the afs-contrib area.  I'm calling this release
"1.00".  As usual, contact your site AFS administrator to get access to
these files.  The distribution itself is constructed as a "package"--see
below for details on getting hold of the package tools.

HP300:

This is the initial distribution of AFS 3.3 for NetBSD/hp300.  If you
want to run AFS on another port of NetBSD, please look for other
distributions in the same directory as this distribution.  If your
favorite port is not there, and you have a machine with at least 40MB of
disk space on the Internet which I could use to compile the code, please
contact me at <jtkohl@mit.edu>.

The software in this tar-file (afs33-hp300.tgz) is a test release; don't
be surprised if it crashes, panics, and takes your disk hostage until
you sacrifice a chicken on your keyboard.

This version of AFS is compiled for NetBSD/hp300-current, as of
1995/01/05.  I haven't yet built for 1.0 (I need to get the right
include files, and they're not handy on the machine I've got access to).

i386:
This is an updated AFS distribution for NetBSD/i386.  This version
(1.13) differs from the previous version by adding support for -current,
and fixing some bugs.  If you want to run AFS on another port of NetBSD,
please look for other distributions in the same directory as this
distribution.  If your favorite port is not there, and you have a
machine with at least 40MB of disk space on the Internet which I could
use to compile the code, please contact me at <jtkohl@mit.edu>.

The software in this tar-file (afs33-i386.tgz) should be in decent shape
for daily use.  

There are two kernel modules in this distribution of AFS: one for
NetBSD/i386 1.0 and one for NetBSD/i386-current (as of 1995/01/05).  If
you are running an older NetBSD, you must update to NetBSD 1.0 before
you will be able to load this module.
