dear sirs,
after trashing my once long ago current system to make it a stable 1.0
box, i have decided to once again go current and see what all the new
hype is about.
i then grabbed the sources for sup, built it, and then proceeded to sup
from ftp.eecs.umich.edu. for some reason, even though i use the "-v"
option on the command line, it still doesn't output what it's updating to
the screen. when i supped back in december or something, that sup
program would print what was going on to the console. is this some new
version of sup? or am i just stupid?
however, it seems like it's working correctly, since i hear the whirl of
the hard drive getting files as the minutes pass by...
