Sorry I've taken so long to get back to people on this; a number of people
have expressed interest in the VM documentation that I sent e-mail about last
week.

I've copied this paper out of the CMU AFS space, and it's now available at:

This isn't the exact paper that was originally talked about, but I think it's
pretty close.
