-Current still has bind-4.8.3. (That's why I wondered if the new
resolver libraries mightn't be incompatible.)

Last time I suggested this, I think someone in Core decided to wait
until 4.9.3 was officially out. Of course, there's nothing stopping
those who wish to from getting 4.9.3-b24.
