I've put the first version of my nsswitch implementation up for FTP on
	netbsd.rmit.edu.au:/pub/contrib/nsswitch-0.0.tar.gz

It contains the dispatch library functions, ns_mkdb(8) (which converts
/etc/nsswitch.conf into /var/run/nsswitch.db), and the various man pages.

A very minimal examples directory exists, which I hope to enhance.

This release is to mainly get comments on my implementation, and
to get people to feedback constructive criticism.

Flames on why this is bad, and that "+/-" in /etc/passwd is the
Only Way To Do It should be directed to /dev/null...

Obviously, if the code looks good, lib/dispatch.c would end up in libc
somewhere, and then the gargantuan task of converting gethost*(),
getpw*(), getgr*(), and anything that uses netgroups (amongst other
things) over :)
