I second that... I think that it is possible to issue the eject ioctl
to a mounted CDROM which is bad, but also, I belive that the 'umount
-f' doesn't force the unmount to occure. Bugs someplace, I suppose...
Anyway, sometime ago I wrote an 'eject' program which pretty much
emulates the Sun 'eject', and tries to make sure that the CDROM is
unmounted first.
