I'm not exactly sure why it is needed, but you must both set the card to the
UTP port, AND set 'link0 link1' on the ifconfig line.
Does anyone know why it does not appear to work correctly if you do not set
the card to a specific media type, or why you have to set 'link0 link1' if
you aren't able to switch media types, anyways?
