I have an HP DAT drive that isn't being recognised by the kernel
config probe any longer. I think it got damaged somehow by the bad
tape driver we had for a while -- it stopped working during that
period, and new kernels haven't fixed it again. Anyone have any ideas
on what I should do, other than replace the drive (which would be a
costly mess...)
