I think you have this backwards.  I have yet to encounter a QIC which
will support BSR/BSF, while I have yet to encounter an 8mm which won't.

I agree about 4mm being nicer than 8mm, BTW.  Now if someone would
just kind of give me a 4mm drive for my SLC... :-)
