Conversations I had with Francis back then were along the lines of:
"PS: if IPv6 become a successful standard and my implementation
far more stable I'll reconsider your proposal. Today it is just too soon.
I got the distinct impression that his implementation was experimental only
and he expected another code platform to become the defacto implementation.
Of course, I'm not one to put words into anyones mouth and fully expect
Francis to supercede these comments.
