Yes!  I have the *exact* same problem with my machine.  I also  have another
machine that is working fine, so I haven't reported it yet.. :)
My current guess, is that it is related to the EISA code somehow, as the
machine that is not working is EISA, and the working one is ISA only.  I
haven't had time to get much further than that.  I have both machines 
configured the same (300,cc000,10).  I am going to test booting a kernel
with no EISA support configured in, just to see what happens. (when I get
home that is)
