I've had a problem on my sparc for some time where telnetting
into the box is guarenteed to crash it (it has something to do with
the second VME ethernet card and/or a reason why the first obio
ethernet is not working). Anyways, with last night's tarballs, I
compiled a new kernel and this new kernel was able to produce a crash
dump where my older kernels could not.
I need to know how to extract useful information from these
kernels, and who among you might know enough about the sparc ethernet
(ie in the 4/260) to help (I have looked at the code and have no
clearer understanding).
Dave.
