Sorry to bother the list again.

After re-running the install for the new "gcc" to be setup most of my
problems in getting any further seem to stem from the fact that there
are a few key new include files for the /usr/include... directory
structure (ie. util.h) that did not exist in V1.1. The include file in
/usr/src/include says to install the include files type: "make install"
which builds the /usr/include structure. Well, there is no install
target and
make install seems to do nothing really. There are 3 major
targets in this file:

includes:
copies:
symlinks:

Which should I be executing ? It was suggested that I build gcc, install
then build gcc again to get past the libgcc building problem. Should I
fix the includes before the first gcc build attempt, before the second
or after ? I would imagine any type changes on functions would be a
problem if I did it in the wrong spot.

I will post my .sh script when this is all worked out and I try it on a
couple more virgin V1.1 (i386) machines.
