Dear NetBSDers,
   I am about to upgrade my link from home to office from an analogue
line with 28.8 modems running ppp with NetBSD to either ISDN or
ADSL.  
   I have seen Motorola Bit Surfer ISDN modem and today I saw US Robotics
ISDN modem.  The Motorola one connects via a serial port and has software
for Microsoft OSes.  I have my doubts about running 128kb (2 B channels)
thru a serial interface - Since I have serious silo overflows running
28.8 kb (115.2kb with compression).  I have a Alpha Multi which this
configuration might work at home and a PC box at office.
    Has anyone got software which will work with Motorola Bit Surfer which
runs on NetBSD?  The thing I'm most concerned about is dynamically switching
from 2 B channels for data to one voice and one data when an incoming
or out going call is made.
    I also noted today that there is a US Robotics ISDN internal modem again
with MS OS support.  I forgot to check to see if it was PCI or ISA bus.
Does anyone know about using one of these modems in a NetBSD machine?
    
    There is also the possibility we might be participating in an ADSL
evaluation/experimentation with IBM.  I don't know anything about ADSL
except it might be able to provide T1 connections between my home and office.
Again the OS platforms which are reported to be supported are MS.  Does
any one have any experience with ADSL under NetBSD?

Pointers and experience would be appreciated.
