   It's either catopen() or catgets().  You probably have to rebuild and
   reinstall the message catalogs in /usr/share/nls.

nah, it's a bug in JT's old nls implementation, that showed up when he
made some other changes.  the message is bogus and probably requires
that the program be re-linked.

it can be ignored, also.  :-)
