The 3c509 card should have come with a config disk (if you bought it new).
That disk has all the MS-DOS and OS/2 drivers as well as a little program
that is used to disable the PNP mode.  Read through the readme files on
the root directory of the floppy, one of them will tell you which one
to use (been a while since I had to configure a 3c509).
