It doesn't "operate in ISA mode". It probes via the ISA bus.
It operates in a full 32-bit "enhanced" mode, and has since the very
early days of the bt742 driver (else all the cards would have problems
with > 16MB of memory, which they don't).
Granted, the BT driver needs work, like working tagged-command-
queuing support. But it operates in a full 32-bit "mode", once it's
done probing.
