There are _so_ many ways of dealing with this one it's ridiculous.

- symlinks are fine
- amd mounts are fine
- null mounts are fine
- union mounts are fine

And of course, I have sufficient space to mount /emul as its own ~42MB
filesystem, which I personally prefer.
