I've done this where possible, but the 715 and 735 systems don't like that
much.  Something about no bootable system... ;-)

There is another alternative:  install the Cray telnet/telnetd on the
HP-UX systems.  That's what I've done here.

	ftp://ftp.cray.com/src/telnet/

is where to find it.
