Awhile ago I proposed that conf.c be changed to have a bunch of
reserved entries at the end, and an #include of a user defined file
near the end of the cdevsw structure.
  This was PR's as
	kern/4094: changes to sys/arch/i386/i386/conf.c

I see the /dev/rnd now in conf.c. Good. With my changes, the new
conf.c would have slid right in, no problems, even though I have some
experimental devices things in my kernel.

Can I please get some more comments? Everyone always says "don't
complain, write code" --- I'm trying, but it seems that a lot of
simple things sit around forever...
