Uh for a 8200 you should get 2.3GB on a standard tape.

Not in the "real world", for a compressing exabyte you get closer to
1.5:1 on a normal system backup. FWIW a compressing DLT seems to get
much closer to 2:1 but not everyone can afford one of those ;-)
