Are there any plans to support filesystem ACL's Solaris style? I just
discovered this, and it would make my life a *lot* easier in a lot of places:
submission:/var/tmp 190> ll blah
-rw-r-----+ 1 dustin staff 21 Jan 27 23:15 blah
submission:/var/tmp 193> getfacl blah
# file: blah
# owner: dustin
# group: staff
user::rw-
user:dustin:rwx #effective:rw-
user:marxmarv:rwx #effective:rw-
group::r-x #effective:r--
mask:rw-
other:---
...that's a simple example, but it means I don't have to do lots of
nasty group hacks, which fail me often in CVS (among other things). It seems
like a neat concept when used properly.
