Just for the archives:

I was running a NetBSD-1.1/i386 machine as a NFS server for a diskless
post-1.3 -current i386.  I saw the NFS swap file grow to 4Gb
repeatedly.

Since upgrading the server to 1.3 I haven't seen this problem recur.

After more than two years, the machine really needed the upgrade
anyway, I guess. :-)
