If we really got our act together with defopt'ing all options, we
could identify the .o files which don't depend on config info (if
they're present at all). 

Then we could have a list of "binary" .o files, compile them into
sys/${MACHINE_ARCH}/compile/BINARY, and use them for custom kernels.

Blue-sky for now, but it's a thought.
