I've never used it - I've always used xf86config. Is it really that much
better? What does it do that xf86config ignores?

Hm... Maybe I'll build that new package to check it out.

In any event, xf86config is quite easy to use, IMHO. I got it working the
first time I ever set up X on an i386 box, and it wasn't terribly hard to
do...

That package would almost beat out emacs for size! Heh.

I thought it was rather painful, actually, to build gimp and have it say
"Oh, hey, build emacs too" on my box, with its 28.8K modem... Oh well. Just
a side gripe. :) (It would be less of a gripe if emacs worked properly out
of the box, but then, that's probably something with my system... I'll
send a PR, I guess, perhaps after I find a solution.)
