Something seems to be wrong with kernfs and/or tail:

This is 1.3F on a SPARCstation 1+, source sup date 1998-08-03. Is
something actually broken, or do I just need to pull a file or two up
to current? Maybe kernfs doesn't quite support mmap, but claims to
anyway? (tail uses mmap, cat uses read.)
Worth a send-pr? Known problem? Pilot error (somehow)? What?
