That's going to be particularly nice.  The contrast between
/usr/bin/ftp and /usr/local/bin/ftp has been a major pain in my butt
for a while; the NetBSD one has lots of nice features, but it doesn't
do GSSRPC authentication.

So, yes, there will definitely be a difference between just installing
the kerberos distribution and integrating it into the source tree.
